A slightly three-dimensional striped fabric made from a wool base with a small amount of polyester twisted into it and cotton mohair woven vertically. The base is thin, soft, and comfortable to wear, making it a versatile fabric. Oshu (Ichinomiya), a wool-producing region that has flourished as a textile center since the Edo period, has seen its fabrics refined in modern times through industrialization and technological advances, earning it worldwide acclaim. This fabric is likely from its heyday in the 1990s or later, and is now deadstock.
