Japanese brocade fabric. "Kinran" is a fabric made by weaving gold threads wrapped around gold leaf or thinly sliced gold leaf into a pattern. Brocade fabric is often used for Buddhist altar fittings, robes, and the edges of tatami mats, but this fabric is woven from polyester in a modern style without using gold thread. It is a durable and versatile item that can be used for a variety of purposes, such as curtains. At Yuge Fabric Farm, we rescued only brocade with abstract and unusual patterns from the warehouse of a brocade factory in Hiroshima. This is an attractive item with its unique color usage and weave.
