Japanese brocade fabric. "Kinran" is a fabric made by weaving gold threads wrapped around gold leaf or thinly sliced gold leaf into it to create a distinctive pattern. Brocade fabric is often used for Buddhist altar fittings, robes, and the edges of tatami mats, but this fabric has a modern pattern woven into it using cotton fabric without using gold thread. Made from cotton, it is a versatile item that can be used for a variety of purposes. At yuge fabric farm, we only rescued fabrics with abstract and unusual patterns from the warehouse of a gold brocade factory in Hiroshima. This is an attractive item with its unique color usage and weave.
