1990's JAPAN Yarn-dyed Check Shirt Fabric

This fabric was rescued from a shirt sewing factory in Banshu that went out of business in the early 2000s.

From the late 1950s until the 1990s, 60% of Banshu weaving was woven for export, so the color schemes and designs for overseas markets are very interesting.

It has a unique roughness and texture that cannot be achieved with current machines.

This fabric is a classic large check pattern and is made of smooth cotton.

Suitable for shirts, skirts, jumpsuits, etc.
