Circa 1920's Dutch Style Folk Art Wappen

I acquired it from a collector in the Pennsylvania area of the United States about 10 years ago.

It overlaps with the lineage of Pennsylvania Dutch hex signs and flower heart patterns. The free-form embroidery and patterns are individually produced using rayon thread on a swing sewing machine, making it a rare item that is not mass-produced.

As this is a vintage item, there may be stains and dirt.
